Ruh Webb is a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years experience as a stylist, has been featured in Modern Salon, Salon News, Salon Today and Forbes magazines.

In 1999, 2001, and 2002 Redken 5th Avenue, considered the industry standard on hair color, acknowledged her achievements in hair color, color correction and design.
Although Ruh’s client base reflects its share of performers, producers and directors, she prides herself as being the hairstylist “to the professional” and her clients have dubbed her the “hair doctor.” She attends on average nine hair color seminars per year; seeing what fellow artists are showing inspires her passion. Sitting down for a cup of coffee in a sidewalk café, anywhere in the world is observing the fashion and trends much like ones touring of art galleries and museums. Ruh’s clientele includes a wide variety of entertainment industry executives, attorneys, physicians, financial wizards, educators and Southern California-based entrepreneurs who share a common appreciation for Ruh’s artistry and her respect for their time.

“Time is a priceless commodity to the working professional and I respect my client’s time,” says Ruh, who adds, “they rely on my professionalism as a stylist and as a colorist and also as a business woman. I service my clients completely from application of any color through the cut and I make it a policy to arrive on time for their appointments. I also take their styling needs into consideration by creating looks that properly frame their faces, are current and are appropriate to their lifestyles.”

Ruh also proactively addresses the needs of the Los Angeles multicultural marketplace by performing all chemical straightening services on all hair types from Caucasian and African American to Asian and Latino. Her client base not only requests hair color but also, every type of chemical straightening.

“Every professional, woman and man, and especially working parents need to know the importance of appearance in their industry or trade and how and to what degree it impacts advancement in the workplace,” notes Ruh.

Equally passionate about community, Ruh is affiliated with a number of charities including Friends of the Family, a Los Angeles-based non-profit counseling organization that provides a variety of counseling services on a sliding scale. Every December, the salon’s holiday tree is decorated on behalf of Friends’ Family Read, a program that provides books and teaches parents to read to their children (in any language).

Also active in Athletes & Entertainers for Kids, Ruh donated her time alongside such celebrities as supermodel Kathy Ireland, Lakers center Shaquille O’Neal and rapper Sugar Ray for this non-profit benefiting underprivileged inner city children during the holiday season.

Currently, she is active with WeSpark a cancer support center, to create Feel Better, Look Better: An Evening of Beauty & Wellness, a program that Ruh has arranged on behalf of the Center’s group of oncologists, pain management experts, nutrition specialists, estheticians, make up artists, hair stylists and wig specialists with Los Angeles cancer patients.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Ruh attended college in Colorado where she received a Bachelor’s degree in both Music and Spanish. She is fluent in Spanish. Ruh is an avid golfer, rollerblader and swimmer. Having such an active lifestyle allows her to be sensitive to the care of chemically treated hair. She loves to travel to observe the latest trends in fashion and hair while absorbing the sights. Ruh and her husband Bill have been married for 20 years and reside in Los Angeles.
